Powdered Alcohol

Powdered Alcohol

A recent article in the Pittsburgh Tribune- Review reports that Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf’s administration supports the state liquor regulators ban of powdered alcohol. Pennsylvania has now joined several states in banning Palcohol. This substance is too easily concealed in nonalcoholic products and can be transported into schools, sporting events, cinemas etc. The danger lays not only to the consumer but to his/her audience.  I remember hearing one of my clients telling me about how he started down the slippery slope of substance abuse by sniffing magic markers all day long when he was in elementary school. No one suspected that he was getting high and now he is a 35 year old heroin addict.  This is a worst case scenario but I can see the potential for misuse of Palcohol users.  The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau has approved the sale of P alcohol.

I can also see the convenience and ease of storage and transportation with having powdered alcohol. Does anyone have any good suggestions they would like to share?
